Water-Resistant Dog Boots (Set of 4)

Winter pavements are wet, gritted and salted, and salt dries out and cracks paw pads. A set of boots keeps the worst of it off, and keeps your dog from licking it off their feet when you get home.

Each boot has a grippy rubber sole and a water-resistant upper with an adjustable strap round the leg. You get four, so there are no pairs to match up.

Which size
Stand your dog on a sheet of paper, mark either side of a front paw and measure the width. Compare that with the size chart in the photos. Paws vary more than you would think between breeds of the same weight, so measure rather than guess. Between two sizes, take the larger.

Worth knowing
Almost every dog walks like a flamingo the first time. Put them on indoors for a few minutes a day, with treats, before the first real walk. They are water-resistant, not wellies — fine for wet streets and slush, not for standing in deep water.
