Carrot Patch Snuffle Mat

Dogs are built around their noses and most house dogs almost never get to use them. Scatter a handful of kibble down among the plush carrots and a two-minute meal turns into fifteen minutes of sniffing, tugging and thinking. That tires a dog out in a way another lap of the block does not.

Each carrot pulls out of its pot, so you can hide food underneath them as well as between them. Start easy. Make it harder as your dog gets better at it.

It is a good thing to load up before a work call, or before you leave the house. The backing is non-slip, so it stays where you put it instead of being shoved round the kitchen.

Details

In the box
One mat, in the design you pick: orange or radish.

Worth knowing
This is a foraging toy, not a chew toy. It is made to be nosed and pawed at, and a dog that destroys soft toys will destroy this one too, so supervise that dog. Spot-clean or hand wash. Do not put it in the tumble dryer.
