Anti-Gulping Slow Feeder Bowl

Some dogs do not eat dinner so much as inhale it. A bowl gone in fifteen seconds takes a lot of swallowed air with it, and swallowed air is where the burping, the straining and the sudden sick on the carpet come from. This bowl has raised bone shapes moulded into the base, so the food drops into the gaps between them and has to be nosed and licked out one bit at a time. Minutes instead of seconds.

It also gives a bored dog something to solve on a day when the walk is short.

The channels are wide enough to actually get clean, which is more than can be said for some maze bowls. Dishwasher is fine.

Details
Food-safe PP. Weighs about 170 g. Green, orange or pink.

In the box
One bowl, in the colour you pick.

Worth knowing
It is built for dry food and for a dog's nose. Cats can use it, but the gaps are cut wide for a muzzle, so it slows a cat less than it slows a spaniel. Expect a confused dog at the first meal — most have it worked out by the second or third.
