Felt Cat Play Box

A cat with nothing to hunt will find something — usually your feet, or whatever is on the edge of the table. This gives them a better target.

It is a box made of thick felt with paw-sized holes cut in the sides and top, and a maze of tunnels inside. A ball with a bell rolls around in there. The cat hears it, sees it go past a hole, and goes in after it with a paw. Some cats climb inside and wait; others just sleep on top. All three count.

Which one
Round or square, in green, grey or white. Same idea, different footprint — pick whichever fits the corner you have in mind.

In the box
The felt play box and a bell ball.

Worth knowing
Felt picks up fur, so a quick go with a lint roller now and then keeps it looking new. It is not water-resistant — spot-clean only. If the bell ball goes missing under the sofa, any small ball will do.
